About Us
We are a research and teaching group that has been active in the Middle East for more than 50 years. We mainly develop efficient synthesis for heterocycles of potential utility as dyes, intermediates for pharmaceuticals and/or agrochemicals. Part of our activity directed to enrich Arabic library with modern scientific chemistry books either translated or our own inventions. We are specialized in offering modern courses in green chemistry, sustainable chemical industry, natural products, biosynthesis energy problems, as well as existing and sustainable petrochemical industry. In addition we have also modern published photochemistry and spectroscopy courses.
As we care about spreading the environmental and chemical awareness in the society, we are offering secondary school students lectures designed to increase their awareness about the environmental problems and also the new directions in chemical sciences.
Prof. Elnagdi is also the vice president of “Science protects our lives” non-governmental organization.
